I usually keep my eyes on Consumer Reports for a lot of my purchases. I prefer to purchase something that I know is going to be good quality. This sewing machine was a hot purchase from Overstock.com - it's a refurbished machine, but it looks like new. Just one little scratch on a plastic part - no big deal. I've had my eye on them for a bit and I finally decided to go with it. Recommended by Consumer Reports - and only $110.00 (instead of the reg new price of $400.00 ) - no brainer!
